i had such a busy weekend....quilting ...a hike at st. edwards w nick ... our good friends carrie and jim over for dinner...cleaned my fridge and stove...[sister is coming] some fall clean up in the yard w nick[sister is coming] still more quilting ...and some yummy baking ~lemon pull apart bread...life is GOOD

all done xoxox well almost ..i still have to finish the binding [ favorite part] and seeing how it is 70 or 80 years old i CAN'T wait to wash it ~ i will post a photo after xoxoxo |

i wasn't sure what to do w the borders on this quilt....at first i wanted an orange peel design but quickly gave up on that deciding on a simpler idea of machine quilting the history of this beauty into the sides xoxox |

I haven't tried the pull apart bread yet, but will soon. Just need an occasion to bake it up! I don't want to be stuck eating it all by myself. :)
