finished linda's quilt with hall of mirrors by apricot moon....love this pattern on a zigzag

and kay's redwork finished up beautiful w harbour waves by patricia ritter

i used the same pattern on diane's sailboat for her soon to be grandson ... so so cute xo
and i squeezed in a bit of time prepping this applique block for my improv quilt

totally inspired by our shower curtain

summertime and the living is busy xo

it has been a very full summer with camping , company , family picnic , and helping daughter # one  paint and move into her new condo and  having daughter # two home for awhile ... but now life is calming down a bit and there will be sewing again ....
we LOVE camping with wini ~ always wishing we could go more xo

so nice to have these two here for a visit xo

we had our second annual spanish banks cole family picnic  ~ we missed you sam! xo
so nice to have this girl home for awhile xo

i did manage to finish the binding on this little project pieced with jenny's qcr ruler ~ i freemotion quilted this gangster style [no rulers]  totally inspired by jenny's beautiful quilting xo
i spent some time with jenny yesterday for judy's longarm summer bbq and she gave me a copy of her book ~ i am so proud and happy to say jenny is my friend ~ it has been great to see jenny and her sister  helen continue to grow and succeed with their hard work and creative visions ~ there is lots more coming !!   xo

it is beautifully done by laundauer publishing and i think modern millie is my new favorite...one day  i will make a whole jenny QCR quilt xo

and i was so happy to be a part of my oldest daughter's happy week....she moved into her first condo...we helped paint and i got to make some pretty cute curtains ~ both fabrics from ikea and both from my stash ~ YAH!
this ikea heart fabric [bought a few years ago] was perfect for her small kitchen window xo

i bought this cute duvet cover at ikea a few years ago too thinking it would make a great quilt back...but i was pretty happy when she chose it for her living room curtains...it was super easy to modify ~ some things are meant to be!
and i did manage to spend some time with customer quilting...i machine quilted fran's sweet bluebird park quilt with honeycomb by dave hudson

i got diane's pretty eggplant batik quilt done with merrily heart by anne bright
and nancy's sweet  beatrix potter was finished with some light freemotion

and i tried a very slick binding to the back method on this little house warming gift  ~  how to face a binding from silly boodilly ~ thanks victoria xo

and i discovered  a super easy nine patch method that i found here on pinterest thank you barb xo
i have scheduled a light month for customer machine quilting in august and i am so looking forward to some personal sewing and a few short road trips xo pam
