customer time xo

my quilting customers have been keeping me very busy....and i love  sharing  some of that wonderful goodness...

mary made this linen / blue quilt...

i love these fabrics together ~  the quilt design goes well and  i also love how beautiful the thread works with the linen...machine quilted with cool beans by apricot moon designs from digitech

occasionally my customers have me  do the binding on the long arm...it is so much easier than sewing it on your regular machine......my friend jenny shared this great binding tutorial awhile ago[thanks jenny]
i  so love pieced backs xo

mary also made this whole cloth quilt for her daughter meg ....
meg picked out two beautiful fabrics...a summer side and a winter side...if you look super close there are some sweet words in between the birds xo

i machine quilted it with loop the loop by barbara becker from digitech...
life is good...i love my job and feel so grateful to have a home business that is all about QUILTS!!

i triple  LOVE LOVE LOVE  these fabrics

it makes me happy to put these favorites together ~ i love dots, stripes and  zigzags and this riley blake snowman fabric xo

still don't have a final plan ~ it is going to be great no  matter what  cuz these fabrics are awesome together...

orange you happy

this is a quilt i started back in 2010 ~ using a 6" pinwheel block

this fall my sister finished piecing them together[ in exchange for some quilting xo]
yesterday i added the 6 "borders...with the 7 extra pinwheels that were left over plus a few 4 patch blocks for something a little different [ and because i was too lazy to make more pinwheels] it measures 66" x 78" now
ORANGE YOU HAPPY is definitely the name of this finish xo

i love how the assymetrical border makes it a bit odd...

and i am pretty excited about using this PERFECT extra wide 108" back [available in 8 fantastic colors] ~  found at pacific fabric

this is ORANGE CRUSH ~ the raffle quilt i made  for MS back in 2010 ~ b4 i started blogging so no posts ~ i used a 6" hour glass block and quilted it with spring fling by patricia ritter ~  it raised over $1000 dollars xoxo

i loved it so much i started the pinwheel orange for me but until recently it sat ....thank you susan for many hours of piecing xoxo
looking forward to quilting it soon....xo happy monday xo pam
