macaroni love story BFQ fall 2015

hello and welcome to the fall BFQ ~ i chose macaroni love story to share this time around in the original design category xo

macaroni love story ~ i built this quilt one block idea at a time

my love for improv and heather ross's fabric were the inspiration for this special quilt and the marcus brothers oasis canvas organic cotton paired perfect xo

using applique , raw edge and piecing...inspired my many people and the everyday xo more here

 hexie love

this block was inspired by the design on my shower curtain

and this itty bitty corner block make me so happy

a whole lot of love for sewing went into this quilt

it finished up queensize for our bed and i chose a zigzag for the machine quilting

i love everything about this quilt ~ from start to finish i enjoyed making it ~ IMPROV will always be my favorite way xoxo

thanks for visiting my little quilt corner ~ HAPPY BFQ ~click on the link below for LOTS more ~ it has always been a huge source of inspiration for me ... and a big thank you to amy for creating this and organizing the fourteenth BFQ !!

  7. Isn't it fun to play with different blocks like this? I did it once with a quilt all in pink and it was a blast. I love the color story on this, and the quilting and all the blocks are super fun. I can tell you had a blast making it!
