scenic beach [or starfish beach] and anna maria's field study linen xo

scenic beach state park  was a wonderful getaway....the wild rhododenrons were in full bloom everywhere with  the large fir trees xo

the hood canal waterfront was fantastic...camping with good friends ~ priceless

low tide  with the most star fish i have ever seen

they were everywhere

all shapes , colors and sizes

sun starfish

even a blue one...

we think this is a mother/daughter combo xo

possibly an agate ??

there was a few crabs around too ~ this one is a spider crab

our new boots were truly appreciated ~ we really got to muck about and see much more xo

we were lucky to have two visits to low tide ...

we visited the former homestead and used the self timer xo

the view across the hood canal into the olympics at sunset was gorgeous...and we were so happy to get some sun cuz we mostly had rain this trip

we took one little road trip to nearby silverdale xo

and i even managed to find a few treasures at a local thrift shop xo

we enjoyed an art show put on by some camping neighbours

and i arrived home to find some awesome field study linen by anna maria in my mail box....

i ordered from westwood acres for the first time...i regretted not finding anna maria and heather ross at sample spree but was able to find both here...{heather ross's briar rose is on pre-order xo]  service was fantastic and i love amanda's craftyfox blog...
