friday felicity ~ u can never have enough hot pads on the shortest day of the year xoxox

my beautiful stack of love
i have a little trick ...i load a yard [kaufman] or so of fun fabric on my longarm ~ quilt it ~ cut it up ~ and just like magic ~ i have many many hot pads...

 this michael miller "put a lid on it" is the perfect hot pad fabric

i heart  these riley blake snowmen .. i am sad i only made 4

i round off the corners too for easy peasy binding xoxo
and i am loving these new binding clips from clover...thanks joyce xo...if you haven't tried them yet ??


i am having fun working on this pile of goodness...i can never make enough ... there is always some for me and lots to give away with love xoxo

in the woods close to where i meet up with my friends a few times a week

to do these stairs...it is a very special place xoxoxo

  1. That is a great idea to quilt a bunch first then cut them up. I would be so excited to find a hotpad out in the wild. Plein air gifting!
