my beautiful stack of love
i have a little trick ...i load a yard [kaufman] or so of fun fabric on my longarm ~ quilt it ~ cut it up ~ and just like magic ~ i have many many hot pads...

this michael miller "put a lid on it" is the perfect hot pad fabric

i heart  these riley blake snowmen .. i am sad i only made 4

i round off the corners too for easy peasy binding xoxo
and i am loving these new binding clips from clover...thanks joyce xo...if you haven't tried them yet ??

i left this in a tree today
with a little note  xoxo inspired by ann curry's  26 acts of kindness

in the woods close to where i meet up with my friends a few times a week

  1. That is a great idea to quilt a bunch first then cut them up. I would be so excited to find a hotpad out in the wild. Plein air gifting!

  2. Fabulous idea all around, especially turning these gorgeous makes into Random Acts! Merry Christmas and thanks for linking up!
