my happy quilt for roygbiv BQF

inspiration came from redpepperquilts but  the fabric came completely from MY stash xo

it was sewing room only during the construction of this beauty xo xo

i used the easy peasy hst method from missouriquiltcompany ~ thanks eva, it was such a fun quilt to make xo

this method gives you perfect hst's every time with no trimming required so don't be afraid of all those bias edges  ~  i made another quilt with briar rose using the same method...see the other here
i machine quilted it with belly bop by apricot moon designs ~ just saying belly bop makes me so happy !

i found this vintage reproduction  simplicity pattern fabric for the binding at joannes

it finished into a very large cuddle quilt complete w a flannel back and i named her HAPPY with a stamped label  xo
thanks for visiting from the BQF ....i LOVE participating...i so enjoy this blog hop full of inspiration.
and i thank amy for organizing this wonderful affair twice a year ~ hope you have time to visit more of  this wonderful festival and get inspired too ! xoxox pam
you can see my other quilt entry in my newer post and please let me know if you shared a quilt on bqf so i can hop over to see it too. thanks xo

  1. I love the way you've played with colour in this quilt. I have wondered about the bias edges for that way of making Hst so it's great to hear you say you've had no problems. Belly Bop does make you smile, it's a great quilting pattern for this quilt.
