Blogger Festival 2010

This is my favorite quilt ever...My sisters, friends and I all got zigzag fever...On my spring visit to Canada my sister found this blog  http://creativechicksatplay.blogspot.com/2010/04/zig-zag-quilt.html   We instantly started shopping for blues and greens. Searching for the right fabrics in rural Alberta with my sisters and Billie-Lou was great fun...we made numerous roadtrips in a few short days...
Quilting is the love of  fabric and design with a super connection to my friends and sisters that also quilt...how lucky we are to share this wonderful obsession. Being a part of the quilting community is amazing...we have so much love wrapped around and sewn into our quilts.
I am so excited to be in the Blogger Quilt Festival for the first time. So many quilts...never enough time...

easy monday morning

My ironing board cover was looking pretty sad but not anymore! Back when the sisters were here I found this  County Fair by Denyse Schmidt homedec fabric on sale and just got a half yard....this morning I paired it with a Pacific Fabric organic solid [love the linen like texture]and presto in 5 minutes my ironing board [which is at the end of the awesome work table that Nick made for me] is like new again...
Happy Monday everyone!!

I so love this fabric

now I get to look at it every day!
