vintage apron fun

i wanted a fast and fun lovely handmade for my friend carrie's birthday so i decided on a quick and easy apron using a vintage pillowcase....

such an easy project....i cut off the pillowcase cuff and used it for the apron strings....folded the bottom of the pillow case up and stitched some pockets...

i found this old pillowcase at value village for 99 cents.....used the pretty pink rose trim i got  at the bloggers meet up / quilt market sslc 2011 and recycled the lemon dingleballs from my lemondrop costume 2010

fun and silly and a gift all at the same time...

loving this long weekend       xoxoxo          ~pam ~
