the special mitered corner works so well and i love the decorative stitching ...i am definitely in baby mode with our first grandchild due in may xo |
and i picked these blues from my stash to make my first jelly roll race quilt at my featherweight class at keepsake last week |
it finished up ok considering i DID NOT follow the simple rules...i used smaller scraps of fabric when it is important to use the full wof ~ and it is important to cut 18" off your first strip ... that is why a jelly roll is perfect...i also sewed mine into a tube by accident so a seam ripper was involved... great tutorial the proper way here missouri star quilt company |
i found this sweet elephant flannel for the back.. i am going to finish it up along with a few other baby boy quilts real soon |

and this was also a rescued quilt...started and abandoned in 2013 ~ i love the simple softness of it and will also finish it up for baby ~ can baby have too many quilts??? |
i squared up and admired these wonderful wedge blocks ~ inspired by the 15 degree ruler and material obsession ~ i am looking forward to playing more xo |
we were a small group this time...5 of us in a space that fits 10 ~ and we had approximately 28 awake hours of wonderful uninterruptible sewing xo |
