Wednesday Finish

I finished putting the binding and the hanging sleeve on the color wheel....this is one happy quilt!!!

LOVE IT

perfect spot on the wall in my sewing room...it will bring sunshine everyday

 looking good

this baby loves to have her picture taken

I will definitely make another

I sat in the comfy chair this afternoon and finished the binding by hand while watching Burlesque with Cher and Christina...the song and dance was wonderful.....

pretty much perfect

this is the absolute magic sauce ....it really does make a difference

I could tell every thing was going to be ok as soon as I loaded it...the extra fabric eased in even before I used the starch....then the starch did it's magic and all was well...

I decided to use a new panto called Jacobs Ladder by Dave Hudson

no regrets...I LOVE IT .....I will get the binding on in the morning.

and a pretty much perfect end to the day as well...the postman delivered my purple and grey solids of the month from PINK CHALK....

oops I have a puffy quilt

It is done and it is beautiful EXCEPT it is really puffy in the middle....I hope to steam this baby into submission with   Mary Ellen's Best Press , the amount of fabric you can ease in with this clear starch alternative is nothing short of magic and as you can see I really do need a miracle on this color wheel quilt! My sisters have been piecing this quilt at the same time in Alberta...they have a similar problemo but not quite as bad as mine.....

pattern from Last Minute Patchwork and Quilted Gifts by Joelle Hoverson...measures 56 " square....I am feeling the challenge right now.....I just might put all else aside and dive into this problem of mine....wish me lots of luck!! ~Pam ~
