love these blues and greens

This beauty belongs to Cecilia....she saw Julie's quilt hanging at Keepsake Cottage in Bothell,  fell in love and made it Kingsize for her son and his wife...LUCKY!! .....check out Julie's blog post [owner of Keepsake Cottage] from August... Julie was away on retreat with Teri Atkinson the designer of this pretty quilt....I quilted it with Splash by Willowleaf Studios...it looks so pretty.

heart and home

I finished piecing Heart and Home today....

http://quiltingsquareone.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html

I put a few extra borders on it so it would be a great  cuddle quilt for two....hope to get it quilted over the Christmas break.I am quite happy with the end result especially since these are not my  favorite colors to work with anymore....this quilt is all about our 25th anniversary so it is very sentimental.

Check it out...it is silver Friday today... all day...actually where I live it is Black Friday...I usually stay away from all stores because it is crazy sale madness but for some reason I was awake early and headed to Joann Fabrics for some of that craziness. Flannel for $1.29....50% off coupons....60% off Christmas decorations etc. I got in and out early and avoided the long lineups....my challenge will be finding a spot to put my great bargains!! Have a great weekend everyone.
