| scenic beach state park was a wonderful getaway....the wild rhododenrons were in full bloom everywhere with the large fir trees xo | 
| the hood canal waterfront was fantastic...camping with good friends ~ priceless | 
| low tide with the most star fish i have ever seen | 
| they were everywhere | 
| all shapes , colors and sizes | 
| sun starfish | 
| even a blue one... | 
| we think this is a mother/daughter combo xo |

| there was a few crabs around too ~ this one is a spider crab | 
| my gifts from the sea xo | 
| our new boots were truly appreciated ~ we really got to muck about and see much more xo | 
| we were lucky to have two visits to low tide ... | 
| we visited the former homestead and used the self timer xo | 
| the view across the hood canal into the olympics at sunset was gorgeous...and we were so happy to get some sun cuz we mostly had rain this trip | 
| we took one little road trip to nearby silverdale xo and i even managed to find a few treasures at a local thrift shop xo  | 
| we enjoyed an art show put on by some camping neighbours |

| and i arrived home to find some awesome field study linen by anna maria in my mail box.... |
